Umbilical Whah...?

That's right. Umbilical Hernia. Kate has one. In the beginning we believed she was blessed with a large "outie" belly button, but it slowly kept getting bigger and bigger. This is what it is today. I had some stress over it for some time. I finally took her to the doctor to have it checked out because I was sure hers was not normal. It makes gurgling and popping noises. Strange. But my doctor assurred me after examining her that it was perfectly fine. He says it will go away within a year or so. Maybe this is a weird thing to put on the blog, but I wanted to remember it. So it's more for me than for you. And as for Kate...Sorry Kate, it's not a secret anymore!

Baby Shower for the Little Princess

My sister Wendy and my sister-in-law Scarlett insisted on throwing me a baby shower for our little baby girl. I was hesitant because it's my 3rd baby, and I feel like I'm un-deserving of people's time & money. But I agreed to have a "small" shower with very close friends and family. This shower was anything but small! I was spoiled rotten. I just have to say THANK YOU again to everyone for coming. If you didn't get an invite, I'm sorry. It's my fault. They kept asking me for more names of people to invite, but I was too embarrassed to invite too many people. Besides, so many people have already given me gifts. Thank you all for that!

This cake was incredible! My dear friend Amy Flores and her daughter Haley spent all day making this cake for my shower. It was absolutely beautiful and it was also absolutely delicious! Thank you guys so much for taking the time. I also thought I'd taken a picture of the table that Wendy and Amy Allred had set up. It had bottled water on ice with little pink bows around each bottle. They also had fruit on kabobs and croissant sandwiches. It was such a nice set up. Thank you ladies for all your efforts!

Here are just a few pictures. Once again, I hate to post pictures of myself pregnant. But, it is what it is. I'm not a tiny pregnant person and I guess my ancestors who may someday read this blog will be glad to know that they got that gene from me. Sorry.

We are so excited!

Six Days and Counting!

We find out what the gender of our little one is in less than a week! I'm so excited to find out. I had an ultrasound last week and we tried to sneak a peek, but the little stinker had it's legs crossed. As I watched the baby on the screen, I focused in on it's feet, which were crossed as well and - It was RUBBING IT'S TOES TOGETHER! I couldn't help but laugh that this weird gene has been passed on to my unborn child. Those of you who know me well know that this is a strange neurotic habit of mine. I'm constantly rubbing my toes together.

Anyway - I have to make my motherly guess on what it is, so I'm going with a girl - Only because this pregnancy has been so much different than my previous two. A girl would be a fun change around our house. I need to say though, I will be THRILLED if it is another boy! So - We shall see! Make your prediction on my side bar.
