Spring Fever in St. George

This past weekend we went down to St. George with my family. The weather there was perfect! We stayed in a large home near Green Valley. All of the kids had so much fun playing with there cousins. It was a spring "tease" because we came home to snow! Bummer.

Zermatt Resort

Jesse and I went overnight to the Zermatt Resort & Spa up in Midway last night for a quick little (desperately needed) getaway. Our room was so awesome. It was so nice to just veg. out and watch a movie in our hotel suite, without little voices crying out constantly. We watched "Dan in Real Life", I thought it was a cute show. I had such a great time. I honestly feel rejuvenated just from that short vacation. A big thanks goes out to my mom for watching the kids overnight. She's the best. And, I love you Jess! You are so sweet to me! I am dying that we have almost been married for 9 years. (We are so old!)This was the view from the balcony in our room. The mountains are so green and beautiful right now. I was just soaking it all in . I loved it!

Grandpa lost his wallet while we were there. He walked all the way back to the car where we had parked on the side of a main road and found his wallet sitting on top of the car! Fortunately nothing was missing!
We were happy that Adam decided to stay a few more hours at the beach with us. He was so fun to have along on this trip. All the kids wanted to ride all the rides in Disneyland with him, and he always had one of our children in his arms as we waited in all the long lines! He had to fly out right after we left the beach.

DISNEYLAND 2008

Collin's 1st Airplane Flight!

Collin was more excited to fly on the plane than he was to go to Disneyland! When I told him we were flying to Disney instead of driving he put his hands on his cheeks and said, "Mom, that's what I've always dreamed about!" The poor thing suffers from motion sickness though. He got so sick both to and from California and had to take advantage of the courtesy sick bags! Baby Ty was safely at home with Grandma Helen being spoiled with treats and balloons. He didn't miss us one bit!

When we were packing to go, Collin reminded me to pack his mickey mouse ears. He had saved his from our last trip to Disneyland in 2006. I thought it was so cute, and it saved us from having to buy another pair this year!
