A Momentary Miracle

I am having a miracle moment here people! I'm not going to get my hopes up or anything, but my computer is actually streaming music and buffering at lightning speed. I have been devastated lately by my sloooooow computer. I was convinced that I was being divinely punished for neglecting my children while I blog and sleuth on the internet. Maybe not - or maybe I've been forgiven! Well, whatever the case, allow me to have a brief celebration with ya'll! YAY, YAY, YAY!!!!!! I lOVE MY FAST COMPUTER!!! I'm suddenly in the best mood!

Another momentary miracle that I feel needs to be addressed was the calmness of The Bachelor last night. There were no cat-fights, and no drama. Everyone behaved and I can honestly say that I like all of the girls that are left. I was glad that Jason finally set Stephanie free. I really like her. She's a sweet LADY. I've already given my rant on her. She will make some 45-50 year old man VERY happy - Especially after the bedroom details she gave last night. Yikes. The only thing that I can even comment on is how much Naomi's lisp is bugging me! I JUSTHT CAN'TTH THAKE IT ANYMORE!!!! Please eliminate her, Jason, to free us from having to listen to it any longer. I don't think this is one of those lisps that people are born with. I'm convinced she does it on purpose because she thinks it's cute somehow. I would never rip on someone's handicap. And if this lisp is a handicap, forgive me now. I mean no harm, it's just annoying, that's all. The bad news is that we still have to endure the funeral for her pet dove next week. Sad, and weird at the same time. It will be alarming if the lisp runs in the family. Until then... May my computer continue to run at lightning speed so that I can read twice as many blogs and posts on the Bachelor sleuthing sites. It's a gosh darn miracle people! Thank you to the computer heaven that granted me my technological sanity back!

My Bachelor Blip

Hello everyone. It has been one week since I last posted and I feel it is necessary to vent a little about the Bachelor, my very favorite show. No worries ladies (and possibly gentlemen, who knows...) even though I know the outcome of this show, I would never ruin it for any of you. So rest assured, there will be no SPOILERS in this rant. So down to business...

Why the freakin' heck is Megan still here? Is Jason completely blind to her craziness? What about her saying she wanted to put a fetus on her "bust" because fetus' breastfeed? I was dying laughing that she was talking down to the other girls by saying they're immature for not knowing about breastfeeding. Then I loved how the girls pointed out that after you have a mastectomy you can't breastfeed. Great T.V. I honestly do not know the break down of who leaves when, so I am so surprised that she didn't get the can this week. She better be gone next week.

Next, Stephanie. Heaven help us all - You want to love her, but everything about her is just a little uncomfortable. There is absolutely no denying that she is sweet as can be. All of the girls are protective of her and are always rallying her on to spend time with Jason. This can only be because they are not threatened by her. I am having such a hard time believing she is 34. (Come on, seriously, she would be 4 years older than me!) I swear she is 50. She's just had some amazing work done, thanks to her late husband's "flight to heaven". She wears a scalloped neck swimsuit cover up that is straight off a Royal Caribean cruise ship. It was a tender reunion with she and her daughter, but man, when she started on the kissing tour of Jason's face, I was sooo uncomfortable for him. Weird. I really want to like her, but I just can't get over the discomfort.

I was glad to see Erica gone. She was a total trouble maker, and was a bit too much of a tom-boy or something. I was actually really surprised that he let Keri go. I thought she was really sweet, and totally gorgeous! I was also glad that Jason sent Natalie packing! I was laughing so hard when he asked her to tell him something interesting about herself and she said that she liked bears! SO Funny! I would go on about each girl individually, but given what I know, my opinion is probably a bit biased. I don't want to give anything away, so I won't carry on about the others. I will say this though...I personally think it's pretty obvious who the final 4 are. There are only a few normal ones in the bunch. Jason's a normal guy. He's going to pick a normal girl! Can you believe it, after next week we'll already be down to the final 5! (Since apparently he decides not to give out one of the roses.) That's going to be good! I can't wait!

Reality T.V. Bliss!

YAY for me! I love this time of year. Most people hate January, but for me, it is one of the best months of the year for a couple of reasons. First, but not foremost, my birthday is in January, exactly one week after Christmas. But, the most vital part of January for me is the premier of wonderful Reality T.V. (and more importantly the heaven-sent DVR)!

My Bliss:

Of course everyone knows I love The Bachelor. And of course I already know who the final 3, 2, and yes, even the one he picks! I personally am not a "sleuth-er", but I do enjoy their hunt for hints and discoveries throughout the season. The "Master Sleuth-ers" were not about to disappoint this season. They served me well, but no worries, I won't put any spoilers on my blog for those of you who watch this show. Enjoy! It's a good one!

I love American Idol! Last night was so entertaining. Jesse and I laughed so hard! And a little side note here, I really like the new judge Kara DioGuardi. She is a perfect addition. There were plenty of entertaining auditions, but what about the blind guy? How awesome was he? This is going to be another fun season!

Lost premiers on January 21st. I'm looking forward to this one too. This started out as mostly Jesse's show, but I couldn't help but catch an episode here and there, and then I was hooked. This is one that you just have to know what is going to happen next!

So horray for T.V. - It's my little escape from my reality for just a mere 4-5 hours a week. (Okay, maybe a little more than that once you add in the time I spend on the Internet investigating the outcome of the Bachelor.) But, none-the-less, I Love It!
